What can machine intelligence teach us about ourselves?
Anthropos is a project that investigates the creative interaction between the artist and the artificial intelligence. It examines the potential for developing new and broadening existing narratives about the human nature. This project is influenced by the artist’s drive to explore the influence of the technology on our individual and collective identity, and on our present and future cultural context.
Based on the hypothesis that AI is anthropomorphic in its historicity, origin, and design, artist prepared a series of collaborative investigations, where his poetry and micro-narratives get transformed into visuals. Through this collaboration with AI, artist is aiming to extract fragments of the story about humanity, deeply embedded into the very roots of machine intelligence and in the data it uses.
“We become what we behold. We shape our tools and then our tools shape us.”
